Skip to the bullet points if you're just interested in ordering a commission. These are the same rules and prices but with an extra option (full shading is available again!) and revised terms to make things more clear.

My school start date has been delayed for months because of complications dealing with tuition and other obstacles, but it seems like I'll finally be starting next month. So this'll be the last time I take commissions (for REAL this time hahah). It's been quite the journey over the past 5+ years taking commissions. I've had ups and downs, made friends and enemies, all that stuff, and I'm glad all the hardships of putting myself down and doubting myself in terms of art will finally come to an end. There's a lot more I'd like to say, but I think I've said all I need to in previous journals and to people who needed to know whatever I needed to tell them through other means of messaging. I don't want this journal to be long beyond just the rules and terms of commissions, so let's just get right to it.

These terms are slightly updated to be more clear on things since people have been confused about some points in the past. Please read EVERYTHING, I am not responsible for your misunderstandings later on if you do not read all the bullet points. Feel free to ask questions below or note me if you are still confused on something.

Prices (EXAMPLES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS JOURNAL)

• Flats: $35 PER CHARACTER, half body only, no background

• Detailed colored sketch: $65 PER CHARACTER, simple background may be included upon commissioner request, prices subject to change depending on complexity. Exceptions may be made if you want multiple characters in the same picture, but expect each character to be $65 at first.

• Full shading: $80 PER CHARACTER, HALFBODY ONLY, ARTISTIC FREEDOM ONLY simple background may be included upon commissioner request, prices subject to change depending on complexity. Exceptions may be made if you want multiple characters in the same picture, but expect each character to be $80 at first.

• Character doodle page: $140, MINIMUM FOUR POSES, MAXIMUM SIX POSES, no background

• ALL PRICES ABOVE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON COMPLEXITY AND OTHER FACTORS

Terms

• Paypal only, male only, most kinks are fine, shota is definitely fine, just no vaginas please

• Payment is required upfront unless the total is more than $250, then you can pay in parts ($100 minimum partial payment).

• Exceptionally large muscles are extra since they are difficult and may take more time

• Fan art and Picrew OCs are okay!

• Artistic freedom preferred (except for full shading, that is artistic freedom ONLY). Detailed descriptions are difficult to visualize and take more time to draw out, so I prefer artistic freedom. If you need to tell me a description, please put it in bullet point format with simple instructions or it will take a very long time to get done.

• Please have a visual reference of your character on hand before you decide to order.

• These will take a long time to complete, so if you are looking for fast art, do not commission me. I am not a fast artist and I do not have my own computer to draw on at the moment. I will also be in school very soon. You may ask for an update at any time, but please know that your slot will be updated next to your name in this journal with progress indicators (SKETCHED, FLATTED, COMPLETE), so check this journal often or simply ask me in the thread where you commissioned me if you'd like to see an update. Please note that I only have an update to give if your commission is at least in the SKETCHED phase.

• Flat sketch orders will NOT come with an approval phase, but you may ask me to make small changes after I send you the completed sketch. I MAY ask you whether you approve of the initial sketch depending on the commission, but do not expect it.

• By commissioning me, you accept all of the above and below terms and conditions. There are no refunds, take-backs, etc. because this is being used to pay for school.

• I will update THIS journal's title with "(Commissions OPEN)" or "(Commissions CLOSED)" so please do not ask if there are slots available or if they are still open. You will know, just check this journal.

How To Order

1. NOTE ME here on DeviantArt OR E-MAIL ME at sour_shock@yahoo.com and title it "Commission" or something similar. DO NOT message me on twitter or discord or y-gallery to order a commission. It is very difficult to keep track of. Please do not start the message with "hi", "do you have commissions open", or "i would like to order a commission". These are open as long as this journal says "OPEN" in the title. Get to the point of what you want please instead of making the thread longer. I don't mean to sound aggressive but this has happened too many times. Start your message out with telling me what you want.

2. Tell me what TYPE of commission you are ordering (flat, detailed colored sketch, full shading, or doodle page)

3. Tell me what you want and attach a link and/or images of the character you would like me to draw.

4. Tell me any other questions you have within that same note.

5. I will tell you whether I accept this commission or not, answer any questions you may have, and then tell you the total. I will then ask you for your PayPal email address so that I may invoice you. Please do not delete the previous messages in the thread.

6. Once it is paid, your name will be put on the list below. At this stage, please tell me whether you'd like to be anonymous.

7. I will show updates as I have them, but please keep in mind the progress indicator next to your name.

8. You are free to post your commission when it is done. It's yours, you do not have to ask me to post it.

Been in school for about 5 months, almost no time to do anything else since it's about a one year program.

Currently have a full time (40 hour) job, less time to do anything.

Can't use family computer at all to draw, bought a screen tablet, barely works, can't afford to send it back currently but it may just be an OS problem. It works fine if I just restart my laptop so I gotta just live through the pain.

Hard drive with all my commission info and backups from my old laptop is being wonky, so I can't transfer the files/save them elsewhere to work on anything. Macs are fucking [redacted] and only have USB-C openings and I'm not buying their overexpensive adapters to plug the external drive into my laptop to try and work on anything. Not like I have much time to draw if I tried to work on it anyway.

I'm not too talkative but I am still working on commissions (which are still open by the way). There's a lot I'm dealing with outside of social media. PLEASE actually read my previous journals if you want to know my situations and why I'm not uploading much art, specifically these:

I know no one enjoys reading lots of paragraphs, but i put them there for a reason and it states why art is slow or I can't get back to people right away, etc. I'm thinking about rewriting this commission sheet that has even more details in it so people don't have to read so many different journals, but until that comes, please just note me/message me for any questions you may have. Again, everyone's patience is really appreciated. I wish i could control my life right now, but unfortunately I don't know how to put a ceiling back together (not even exaggerating, I cannot even sleep in my own room right now because of a house situation).

EDIT: OPEN AGAIN! I'm almost done with the previous batch so I'm opening up this one again so people can snag a spot before this one closes. I'll only take on two or three more and then close again until the previous batch is fully complete. Once that's done, I'll keep this journal open for longer periods of time and remove people's names from the list as their slots get completed. So hurry and get your spot before they close again!

I'VE FINALLY BEEN ACCEPTED TO CODING SCHOOL LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO

It happened a lot faster than I had anticipated, I didn't think the new application process would be so much easier from the last time I had applied and I didn't expect to be accepted so fast. I REALLY wanted to wait until i finished the last batch to open this one but things are moving fast and I need to keep up. So let's get straight to it: I'm gonna have to somehow make $500 in 5 days for the deposit. After that I'll take commissions at a more regular pace since I'll have a month to prepare (my classes start on July 19th, what a nice birthday present for me). So I'm sorry about the slight price increase but I gotta do what i gotta do.

These will last all summer because if everything goes smoothly with the deposit and loans, I will need to make money for food, transportation, and maybe possibly a skateboard to cut down on half of the transportation costs heheh. I also might have to be paying part of the loans off while in school. Thankfully tuition isn't that much, but enough talk about that, let's get straight into rules and prices.

• These are detailed colored sketches. They are $65 each/per character. Exceptions may be made if you want multiple characters in the same pic, but expect each character to be $65 at first. They all come with simple backgrounds!

• Flats are $35 per character and do not come with background and are half body only (might be an exception for some shota since they're small).

• Character doodle pages are $140 and come colored like the examples below but with no background. They have a minimum of four poses and you can tell me how you'd like them posed, but artistic freedom is preferred.

• Exceptionally large muscles are extra since they are difficult and may take more time

SLOTS HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THIS JOURNAL:

So...at first it was just the fans, but then the tech shop said my hard drive was failing. Tried to get the data off myself, but this time i couldn't do it myself because of a problem with the hard drive. So I ended up just paying for a data transfer. They said i needed to get something else on the laptop fixed, and the total was over $800. Even if i took enough commissions to cover it, there's no way in hell im paying for that. Even when I got my laptop fixed last time it wasn't that much. So, I'm giving up on this laptop. I can only boot it onto a USB that has an operating system installed on it (which is how im typing this), but I can't install Clip Studio or my other applications on here to do any art (the USB is only 2gigs).

However, all hope is not lost.

I'm not going to go into too much detail here because I still have stalkers that like to spread misinformation about me, but I'll still be able to get art done and all the commissions I've taken. I just have to work on them only at night now. My sleep schedule will be messed up again, but it's better than nothing. I'll be able to give people updates during the day, and work on art and other stuff at night. I'm very thankful to everyone who has been very patient and understanding during all these down times. And thank you to everyone who has commissioned me and told people that I had commissions open. I've gotta spend some time organizing my files on my external hard drive (hopefully all the files are there, I'd rather not go back to the tech shop yet again....) and then I'll start drawing this weekend and hopefully start sending out updates next week.

As I've said in the previous journal, commissions will stay open until the first week of April and then close again. So if you're still interested, go get something now!
